 Orientation to College Planning

 This package breaks down the college admissions process and the components one needs to create a compelling profile. (1hr virtual meeting) 

This package is designed for families seeking a general overview of the college admissions process, with a focus on strategic planning. It includes:

• Interest Discovery Assessment: Both students and parents will complete separate 30-minute assessments to provide insights into the student’s strengths and interests, which should be submitted before the meeting.
• Analysis and Process Breakdown (1 hr.): The consultant will review the assessments, identify any gaps, and outline the college admissions process, followed by a Q&A session.
• Roadmap Development (1 hr.): Discuss potential career paths and extracurricular interests, with a personalized roadmap and recommendations provided after the the session. All meetings will be held virtually.

 Strategic Guidance Package (8 Sessions):
This package is ideal for high school students seeking early, strategic guidance on navigating the college admissions process (customized version available for middle school students). Over the course of 8 virtual sessions (1 hour each), spread across the fall and spring semesters, students will receive:

• Personalized Admissions Planning
• Application Strategy
• Ongoing Support and regular check-ins to ensure students are on track, with actionable recommendations for each stage of the process.

Sessions will be conducted virtually via Google Meet for flexibility and convenience.

Designed for students who have already written their personal statement and need expert feedback. The essay will be evaluated for structure, grammar, and punctuation. A 30-minute session (via video or phone) will be held to review feedback, answer questions, and discuss next steps. This is a one-time review.

This is for students who need guidance crafting a standout personal statement. The consultant will lead brainstorming exercises to generate ideas and identify themes for a unique story. Students will submit a draft within four days, and the consultant will review it within 48 hours (excluding weekends). Includes up to 4 drafts with detailed feedback on sentence structure, word choice, grammar, and punctuation. 

The 8-hour Basic Package includes:

• Brainstorming to uncover a unique personal statement story
• Detailed feedback on up to 3 drafts of your personal statement (structure, word choice, grammar, punctuation)
• Finalizing your college list
• Supplemental essay guidance and review for 1 school

The 12-hour Premium package includes everything in the Standard Package plus

• Supplemental essay crafting guidance and review for up to 2 schools
• Coaching on how to research and write other supplemental essays

Note: Some colleges use similar prompts for the supplemental essays making it easy for them to be recycled or slightly modified for submission.
